Get Rich Quick(ish)!

Getting rich quick is a myth. Building wealth over time is attainable. It might not be as sexy and as in-your-face as rich, but wealthy is pretty good, too. Also, I'll let you in on a little secret: Not everyone is as well off as they'd like you to believe. I know! Shocking! You can bet your fake Louie bag on it.

I'll never claim to tell you the "Top 5 Things You Can Do TODAY To Be Rich" or sell you some sketchy e-book. However, if I did sell you that e-book it would say 1. publish an e-book and sell it.

There are little things you can do that will add up over time. Wealth is a slow burn. The slow burn of not adding quac when you don't really need it. Making sure you get to the bar for the happy hour specials. Offering to take the overtime even though you would rather be at home. Wealth is a commitment to understanding how money works and making it work for you.

One way to make your money work for you is by shopping smart and not paying more than you have to. Most stores have a policy wherein if you buy something and it then goes on sale for a lower price within a certain amount of days that you are eligible for a refund of the difference. So how do you get all that money back? Well, you just save your receipts, pore over the sale circulars and make special note of items that you've recently purchased. Then you get your tired butt and wrinkly receipts in the car and drive to Target and stand in line at the service desk. OR You could also go to Amazon every 12 hours and stalk your recently purchased items. Then you call customer service, fun!

Instead, get on board with Paribus! Paribus was recommended to me by a friend and I love it. When you are owed money, Paribus' advanced algorithms automatically get it for you. Sign up with your email address, enter any missing shopping credentials, and Paribus handles everything else.

Whenever a price drops on an item you've recently purchased the money is automatically refunded onto your original form of payment. Easy cheesy.

Sign up with my link HERE to save 5% on the processing fees. Paribus is free - they just skim a little off the top when you are refunded.

It's super simple stuff. Just automate the recon work and enjoy the little texts telling you they've credited your account $2. Then transfer that money into your savings account!
